Our Story

Dear Friends,

In 2006, our family was expecting the arrival of twin boys, Donovan Michael and Keagan Joseph.  As fate would have it, the boys were delivered 14 weeks prematurely. 

Unfortunately, Keagan passed away less than an hour after birth.

Donovan, with a birth weight of 2 lbs., 2 oz., spent 115 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at both Golisano Children's Hospital (Rochester, NY) and Wilson Regional Medical Center (Johnson City, NY).  During the 3 months of Donovan's care at the Golisano Children's Hospital, our family lived at the Ronald McDonald House.

After months of care we are happy to report- thanks to the amazing nurses, providers and NICU technologies- that we are blessed with a baby boy who is free of any premature related health or developmental issues.

Our family wanted to give back to those organizations that helped us through an emotionally and physically trying period.  To memorialize our son, we have organized this golf tournament as a mechanism for raising money for the NICU at the Golisano Children's Hospital, Wilson Regional Medical Center, and Ronald McDonald House Charities.
